Senior Human Resource Officer Job

Our technology retail solutions focused client requires an experienced Senior Human Resource Officer to join their team. Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer you will be primarily responsible for overseeing the entire aspects of human resource operations relating to implementing approved HR strategies and organizational and operational activities such as recruitment performance review employee relations training & development and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Manage HR strategies and initiatives according to existing company monitoring tools for successful achievement of HR Goals.
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands grievances or other issues.
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process.
  • Support current and future business needs through the development engagement motivation and preservation of human capital.
  • Nurture a positive working environment.
  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
  • Maintain pay plan and benefits program.
  • Assess training needs manage and monitor the implementation of training programs.
  • Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
  • Perform other duties that may be assigned according to the needs of the business.

Requirements

  • Must have a relevant University Degree in Human Resource Management or any other related field.
  • At least a minimum of three (3) years of working experience in HR management role in the same or similar industry.
  • Practical experience in managing activities to achieve strategy plans along with leadership skills.
  • Ability to engage influence and build relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Effective communication (oral and written) and listening skills.
  • Excellent organizational planning negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Proficient level in computer skills (Excel/PowerPoint/Word) including experience with HR information systems and metrics.
  • Understanding of local labour and local policies regulations and market practices.
